Not Any Dumber Than Acid Washed: Intel and Tesla/SpaceX Team Up to Fab Semis

Intel and SpaceX/Tesla have said they'll collaborate on Terafab. As we discussed on The Byrne Wheeler Report (https://youtu.be/tqCGAHDZwUY at the two-minute mark), access to process technology was a key missing link for Terafab. Rapidus has licensed its 20 A tech from IBM, making Big Blue a possible supplier. Intel has advanced tech; thus, it's an unsurprising Terafab partner. On the other hand, Intel has struggled with production, and Musk's pressure-cooker culture is incompatible with semiconductor manufacturing where "good enough" isn't a sensible precision level. Tesla's notorious panel alignment is fine for cars and "trucks" but disastrous for chip manufacturing. Facing these weaknesses, how will collaboration benefit these companies?
