Trainiums on the Loose

Following Google offering TPUs on the merchant market instead of just aaS, Amazon is in talks to sell Trainium, according to Bloomberg: Amazon's AI chief, Peter DeSantis, said the company has begun discussions with potential customers, but declined to name them. The third version of Amazon's AI accelerator, Trainium, is largely sold out [meaning what if they haven't sold any loose Trainiums?] and there is already strong interest [puffery] in a fourth version that is expected to debut next year.
