Reuters is reporting Deepseek is looking to make a data-center AI processor. The company has been using Huawei silicon and had used Nvidia GPUs. It would still need to use such products for training, using the new inference-only chip for serving models. The company has proven clever on the model side. Let's see what it can do with hardware.
